是治疗邪热伤阴，小便不利的方法。患者口渴要喝水，小便不利，或有咳嗽呕恶，心烦不能安眠，用猪苓汤（猪苓、茯苓、泽泻、阿胶、滑属）。心烦不能安眠是阴伤的现象，阿胶能补血养阴，与其它药同用，既能利水，又不伤阴。
