《外科理例》痈生原于脏腑十二·

五脏菀熟。痈发六腑。

菀、积也。熟、热也。五脏积热。六腑受之。阳热相薄。热之所过。则为痈也。

此言五脏积热。六腑受之而生。

六腑不和。留结为痈。

六腑属阳而主气。肌肉上为阳脉。邪气游于六腑。则肌肉上之脉不和。邪气停留肌肤。

结聚为痈肿矣。此言六腑受邪而生。
